Human rights also guarantee people the means necessary to satisfy their basic needs, such as food, housing, and education, so they can take full advantage of all opportunities. Finally, by guaranteeing life, liberty, equality, and security, human rights protect people against abuse by those who are more powerful.

Cyber Law is the part of the overall legal system that deals with the Computer, Internet, (Mobile, laptops, tablets), cyberspace, and their respective legal issues. Cyber Law yields legal recognition to electronic documents and a structure to support e-files and online transactions and also provides a legal structure to reduce, check Cyber crimes. Advocates in the field of Cyber Law deal with a wast area which includes freedom of expression, access to the internet, usage of internet as well as online privacy. While sorting out any issue, Cyber Law Advocates refer to the Indian Penal Code as well as the IT Act,2000.
Cyber crimes can involve criminal activities that are traditional in nature, such as fraud, forgery, theft, mischief and defamation all of which are subject to the IPC. The abuse of computers has also given birth to a range of new age crimes that are addressed by the IT act,2000..

Register a cyber crime Report (FiR) at the nearest local police station to report them. It is mandatory under Section 154, CRPC, for every police officer to record / register the complaint (information) of an offense, irrespective of the jurisdiction in which the crime was committed.
Cyber crimes can be explained as crimes committed by using a LAPTOPS, COMPUTERS either as a tool or a target or sometimes both. Imprisonment up to 3 years or fine up to Rs 2 lakhs.
